Another Battle Axe Throwing fan favourite event, Bucket of Axes - Around The World (ATW) is the ultimate challenge. Throwing a random axe every match evens the playing field for both beginners and seasoned throwers alike. Which axe will you pull from the bucket when you SPIN THAT WHEEL?! We also run this event to showcase some of the Axe Makers from around Australia, giving you the chance to get your hands on their work and try them out before you buy. That is if you don’t win one of course, since all the axes in use are up for grabs as the event prizes! Ticket Price: $70 per person Registration: 3:00pm Start Time: 4:00pm Prize pool: The custom axes for the tournament are the prizes! (1st: First pick, 2nd: Second pick, 3rd: Third pick, 4th: Fourth pick Competition Rules: - Open tournament - IATF ‘Premier’ Ruleset - Axes are provided Competition Format: - 3 Game Guarantee, Double Elimination Bracket ​Bucket of Axes Rules: - Axes will be provided to all players for use. - Axes are chosen at random for each match. - Axes to be announced soon! Around The World (ATW) Rules: - IATF Premier Ruleset - Players must score a left side '1', then a left side '3', then a '5', then a right side '3', then a right side '1' and a Premier Clutch to finish. - 10 max throws to hit all points. - Whoever hits their Premier Clutch first wins. - If neither player scores a Premier Clutch in 10 throws, the player who has progressed the furthest “Around the World” wins. Tiebreakers: - If both players hit a Premier Clutch on the same throw or if both are tied at the same stage then players will go to a sudden death Clutch throw off with the closest result to a Clutch taking the win. - If both players hit a ‘Touch’ Clutch or both hit a ‘Premier’ Clutch the sudden death Clutch throw off repeats itself.
