The Australian Championship is here, bringing a brand-new level of competition to Battle Axe Throwing.​ Ticket Price: $125 per player Registration/Warm Up: 1:30 PM Tournament Start Time: 2:00 PM Prize Pool: $855 (1st: $320, 2nd: $220, 3rd: $170, 4th: $145) + Merch & Sponsors Prizes Tournament Rules: - Open tournament - IATF Premier ruleset Tournament Format: - Seeded, Single Elimination Random Seeding Matches into a Single Elimination bracket, that all players qualify for. The number of random seeing matches will be between 3-5, to be determined by the final number of competitors registered in the event. Giving each competitor a minimum of 4-6 matches with their registration fee. IATF MAJOR Marquee Tournament Information: - As a sanctioned IATF MAJOR Marquee Tournament, 1st place will receive an automatic bid into the 2026 International Axe Throwing Championships (IATC). - 2nd and 3rd place will receive automatic entry into an IATF GRAND SLAM event within the following 12 months. - If the winner has already secured a bid into 2026 IATC or opts out of 2026 IATC participation, the prize bid will trickle down to the next highest placing player who is eligible. Tiebreakers: - IATF Doubles Big Axe Rules
