Monday nights at Battle Axe Throwing are social, competitive, beginner friendly, and one of the best ways to lock something fun into your week.

Whether you’ve never thrown before or already know your way around the boards, league is where the community side of axe throwing really comes alive.

You’ll throw every week across an 8 week season using the official IATF Premier Ruleset, with coaches available during league and a dedicated induction week to get new throwers comfortable before matches begin.

What to Expect

Most players start league never having thrown before, so this is your opportunity to start!

​

Every Monday night league season includes:

• 7:30 - 9:30pm, Monday nights

• 8 week season format

• 2 hour sessions each week

• 7 weeks of Round Robin, with Playoffs in week 8

• Beginner induction and training

• Coaches available during league

• Finals night in Week 8

• Medals for finalists

• Official IATF Premier Ruleset

• $200 per season

• No experience needed

Monday league has a strong social atmosphere, returning players every season, and plenty of newer throwers joining in for the first time.

You can take it seriously, keep it casual, or sit somewhere in the middle.

​

Some players join because they want a regular weekly activity, while some want to improve their throwing while some people eventually move into tournaments.

Most just end up loving league night.

Battle Axe is an affiliated member of the International Axe Throwing Federation (IATF). We follow their rules and guidelines and use their official scoring software.

 

Our top ranked players can qualify for the International Axe Throwing Championships (IATC) held yearly in Toronto, Canada.​
