Every season brings back returning throwers, new faces, big matches, close clutches, and one of the best social atmospheres in Wollongong axe throwing.

Whether you're completely new or already throwing regularly, Tuesday nights are built to be welcoming, fun, and seriously addictive once you get going.

League runs across an 8 week season using the official IATF Premier Ruleset, with induction and training included for first-time throwers.

What League Is Like

A lot of players join league for the social side first, then end up getting hooked on improving week after week and chasing that elusive Prem 81 score.

Tuesday league includes:

• 7:30 - 9:30pm, Monday nights

• 8 week season format

• 2 hour sessions each week

• 7 weeks of Round Robin, with Playoffs in week 8

• Beginner induction and training

• Coaches available during league

• Finals night in Week 8

• Medals for finalists

• Official IATF Premier Ruleset

Battle Axe is an affiliated member of the International Axe Throwing Federation (IATF). We follow their rules and guidelines and use their official scoring software.

Our top ranked players can qualify for the International Axe Throwing Championships (IATC) held yearly in Toronto, Canada.​
