Ambidextrous Tournament - BAT Outta Hell

An Australian first, we are adding a full Ambidextrous Competition to the roster of events. With one caveat for accessibility, during tiebreakers you’ll be using the same hatchets you’re already throwing. Test your off hand coordination and give a shot to throwing two axes at once! Ticket Price: $75 per person Registration/Warm Up: 9:00am Start Time: 9:30am Prize pool: $400 (1st $175, 2nd $125, 3rd $100) + Trophies & Sponsor Prizes! Tournament Rules: - Open tournament - IATF ‘Premier’ Ruleset - Ambidextrous Rules (1 axe per hand thrown simultaneously) Tournament Format: - Random Seeding Matches into a Single Elimination bracket, that all players qualify for. - The number of random seeing matches will be between 3-5, to be determined by the final number of competitors registered in the event. - Giving each competitor a minimum of 4-6 matches with their registration fee. IATF Ambidextrous Ruleset - The normal IATF throwing ruleset but throwing two axes! - Scores for both thrown axes are totaled each throw.​ - Both axes must be thrown approximately in sync with each other and from separate hands. - If an axe sticks into another axe aka ‘Robin Hooding’, the score of the axe attached to the target is doubled. - On the fifth throw of each round both, one or neither of a player's axes may be elected to go up for a Clutch. Hatchet Tiebreakers:​ - If both players finish on a tied score then players will go to a sudden death Clutch throw off using hatchets with the total closest result to both Clutches taking the win. - If both players hit ‘Touch’ Clutches or both hit ‘Premier’ Clutches equally then the sudden death Clutch throw off repeats itself.
