Our School Holiday Axe Camp is five days of axe throwing, coaching, competition and fun with other young throwers. Axe Camp runs Monday 5 October to Friday 9 October from 10:00am for three hours, with a mix of coaching, practice and competition. Built like a junior league, the camp gives kids aged 12 to 17 the chance to learn the sport, work on their throwing, compete in Round Robin matches and finish the week with Playoffs, medals and an Award Ceremony. The sessions are fully supervised and our expert axe coaches will be there throughout the camp to teach, coach and support the group every day. WHAT TO EXPECT School Holiday Axe Camp is running from Monday 5 October to Friday 9 October from 10:00am - 1:00pm at Battle Axe Throwing in Wollongong CBD. Most kids participating have never thrown before, so this is great time to start! School Holiday Axe Camp includes: - 10:00am - 1:00pm, Monday to Friday - 4 days of Round Robin, with Playoffs on Friday - Beginner induction and training - One on one coaching - Practice time - All equipment provided - Fully coached and supervised - Finals & Award Ceremony on Friday - Medals for finalists - $200 per season - No experience needed Payment options available via PayPal PayIn4 and AfterPay. FULLY COACHED FROM START TO FINISH Our expert axe coaches stay with the group for the duration of the camp. They'll run the sessions, be in the lanes while they throw, give feedback, help with technique and keep an eye on things throughout the day. A SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACTIVITY School Holiday Axe Camp is exclusively for kids aged 12 to 17. A parent or legal guardian must make the booking and complete their child's waiver on the first day. Parents and guardians are welcome to drop their kids off for the session and pick them up at the end. The camp is fully supervised by our axe coaches in the throwing lanes and throughout the day. WHAT DO THEY NEED TO BRING We've got the throwing gear covered, so there's nothing you need to buy for them to take part. They'll just need: - Enclosed shoes - Comfortable clothing - A snack and drink for the scheduled break - A willingness to give it a go We also have snacks and drinks available to purchase onsite.
