Get ready for twice the excitement with our Doubles Tournament! Team up with a mate and take on the rest in a fan favourite, high-energy, classic event you've come to expect from Battle Axe Throwing! This event isn't just about skill either, there's also an additional prize for the best-dressed team. So dress your duo best and show us what you’ve got in our Costume Catwalk to kick the event off! Ticket Price: $150 per team Registration/Warm Up: 3:30pm Costume Catwalk: 4:00pm Start Time: 4:30pm Prize pool: $800 (1st $350, 2nd $250, 3rd $200) + Trophies & Sponsor Prizes! Additional Prizes for Best Dressed Team! IATF - Feature Tournament: - The 1st place finisher will receive a reserved spot into a comparable tournament at the 2027 International Axe Throwing Championships Tournament Rules: - Open tournament - Doubles (2 player teams) - IATF ‘Premier’ Ruleset ​Tournament Format: - Random Seeding Matches into a Single Elimination bracket, that all players qualify for. - The number of random seeding matches will be between 3-5, to be determined by the final number of competitors registered in the event. - Giving each competitor a minimum of 4-6 matches with their registration fee. Doubles Rules: - The normal IATF throwing ruleset but with a partner! - Scores for both thrown axes are totaled each throw.​ - Both throwers must throw approximately in sync with each other. - If an axe sticks into a partner's axe aka ‘Robin Hooding’, the score of the axe attached to the target is doubled. On the fifth throw of each round both, one or neither competitors may elect to go up for a Clutch Tiebreakers: - IATF Doubles Premier Big Axe Ruleset
