UNDER 50 AVERAGE TOURNAMENT
Kick off the BAT Outta Hell with an Under 50 Average tournament, designed to showcase some of our up and coming throwers. Sharpen your skills, aim for bulls, nail those clutches and see if you have what it takes to come out on top in this Premier competition.

IATF ‘Premier’ rules
Tournament Format:

Pool Play Format (Group Stage, then single elimination)
Every competitor will have a minimum of 5 matches with their registration fee.
Under 50 Average Rules:
-
Entry is only allowed to players with an IATF Premier match average of 50.0 points or under, as listed on their Axescores profile in the ‘Current Year’ filter at the time of ticket purchase.

If you do not have a Premier average score, minus 10 points from your 'Current Year' Standard average score for conversion.

Get ready for twice the excitement to close out Friday night with our Doubles Tournament! Team up with a mate and take on the rest in a fan favourite, high-energy, classic event you've come to expect from Battle Axe Throwing!
This event isn't just about skill either, there's also an additional prize for the best-dressed team. Show us what you’ve got!
Ticket Price: $100 per team

IATF ‘Premier’ rules
Tournament Format:

Pool Play Format (Group Stage, then single elimination)
Every competitor will have a minimum of 5 matches with their registration fee
Doubles Rules:
-
The normal IATF throwing rule set but with a partner!
-
Scores for both thrown axes are totaled each throw.
-
Both throwers must throw approximately in sync with each other.
-
If an axe sticks into a partner's axe aka ‘Robin Hooding’, the score of the axe attached to the target is doubled.
-
On the fifth throw of each round both, one or neither competitors may elect to go up for a Clutch

Pool Play Tournament Format:
The tournament starts with a ‘Group Stage’, where players are divided into groups of ‘x’ and play everyone in their Group once, totalling ‘x’-1 matches within their Group in a best 2 rounds out of 3 match format before any elimination takes place. Once all Group Stage matches are complete the top ‘y’ from each Group move onto a single elimination tournament bracket.
*’x’ and ‘y’ to be determined proportionally to the final total player pool of each tournament.
