BUCKET OF AXES - AROUND THE WORLD
Kickstart your day with the ultimate axe-throwing challenge, Bucket of Axes - Around The World (ATW)! This competition is an Australian FIRST and perfect for both beginners and seasoned throwers, this is going to be a fun event to see who can win, no matter what axe they draw out of the bucket. Enjoy the random chaos and see who can master a new axe the fastest!

Double Elimination Competition
Every competitor will have a minimum of 2 matches with their registration fee
Bucket of Axes Rules:

Axes will be provided to all players for use.

Axes are chosen at random for each match.

Around The World (ATW) Rules:
-
IATF Premier Rules
-
Players must score a left side '1', then a left side '3', then a '5', then a right side '3', then a right side '1' and a Clutch to finish.
-
10 max throws to hit all points.
-
Whoever hits their Clutch first wins.
-
If neither player scores a Clutch in 10 throws, the player who has progressed the furthest “Around the World” wins.
Tiebreakers:
-
If both players hit a Clutch on the same throw or if both are tied on the same point then players will go to a sudden death Clutch throw off with the closest result to a Clutch taking the win.

If both players hit a ‘Touch’ Clutch or both hit a ‘Premier’ Clutch the sudden death Clutch throw off repeats itself.
WOMEN & NON-BINARY TOURNAMENT - IATF MAJOR
In the afternoon, join us for the empowering and inclusive Woman + Non-Binary Tournament. Battle Axe Throwing is thrilled to be hosting Australia's first Womens and Non-Binary Major IATF ‘Major’ Marquee Tournament, with the 1st place winner will receive an automatic bid into the 2025 International Axe Throwing Championships (IATC).
This event is a celebration of skill, strength, and community. Cheer on talented competitors and witness extraordinary displays of precision and power. Whether you're participating or spectating, this tournament is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
Ticket Price: $100 per person

Tournament Format:

Pool Play Format (Group Stage, then single elimination)
Every competitor will have a minimum of 5 matches with their registration fee.
IATF 'Major Marquee Tournament Information:

As a sanctioned IATF ‘Major’ Marquee Tournament, 1st place will receive an automatic bid into the 2025 International Axe Throwing Championships (IATC).
-
2nd and 3rd place will receive automatic entry into an IATF ‘Grand Slam’ event within the following 12 months.
-
If the winner has already secured a bid into 2025 IATC or opts out of 2025 IATC participation, the prize bid will trickle down to the next highest placing player who is eligible.

Pool Play Tournament Format:
The tournament starts with a ‘Group Stage’, where players are divided into groups of ‘x’ and play everyone in their Group once, totalling ‘x’-1 matches within their Group in a best 2 rounds out of 3 match format before any elimination takes place. Once all Group Stage matches are complete the top ‘y’ from each Group move onto a single elimination tournament bracket.
